Our focus is on working with writers to make ambitious original drama that tells the stories they want to tell, however they want to tell them. Alongside our originals, as a Warner Bros. Discovery Company, we have access to the WB and DC Comic catalogue and develop scripted adaptations out of the UK.
Wall to Wall North is currently producing the hotly anticipated revival of Waterloo Road for BBC One out of Manchester, in collaboration with Rope Ladder Fiction. The initial three-season run is a showcase of new and established writing talent from the region, with the continuing drama’s reboot acting as a rich vehicle for shadow and training schemes that are nurturing the next wave of northern production talent.
Among Wall to Wall’s previous productions are the highly acclaimed award-winning single film The Windermere Children for BBC Two and ZDF, written by Simon Block and 6-part thriller The Man in Room 301, by Kate Ashfield, which premiered to record audiences on Finnish platform Elisa Viihde in late 2019. Other hits include Bafta-winning and Golden Globe-nominated The Girl, written by Gwyneth Hughes and starring Sienna Miller and Toby Jones for BBC and HBO and The Scandalous Lady W written by David Eldridge and starring Natalie Dormer for BBC Two. Among our other series, Wall to Wall also produced twelve seasons of BBC One’s beloved comedy-drama police procedural, New Tricks - the channel’s most watched midweek primetime drama.
