As before the eccentric mix of hardcore engineering, dusty archive and shear greasy good fun, brings history to life as neglected classic vehicles are restored to their former glory.

This year the candidates range from a 1935 Grafton Steam Crane to a German Midget Submarine – now the only fully functional Second World War submarine in the world.

Whether the subject of the restoration is the first British-made mass produced combine harvester or the unique brass bodied Model T racing car that won at Brooklands in 1911, Salvage Squad is all about people who fall in love with machines.  And the series sets out to make its audience love them too.
