A superb cast of Albert Finney, Tom Courtenay and Joanna Lumley are brought together in this beautifully observed drama. Finney plays former squadron leader Reggie and Courtenay an unassuming ex-milkman.  Both are bereaved on the same day and form a surprising alliance to help them cope with their loss. Lumley joins them as a glamorous widow who serves to upset their unlikely equilibrium.
