Bumping the Odds is a powerful story of friendship and betrayal.  Lynette and Terry are two friends scraping by in inner city Glasgow through savings schemes and scams.  Entangled in this ducking and diving existence they are pulled through by their strong friendship and sharp humour.  Into their lives come two men on the edge of the law and the two women unwittingly become drawn into the vicious world of the loanshark with disastrous and unforeseen results.
