Wall to Wall has struck a new wave of format deals for its hit series Who Do You Think You Are?  Further to discussions at MipTV, the deals have been secured in Germany, Poland, Sweden, Canada and Australia.  Production of a local version is underway in France and the format has already been licensed in Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium.  The celebrity genealogy show was BBC2’s highest rated factual series of 2004, and a second UK season is currently in production.

Wall to Wall's in-house distribution arm was set up one year ago and is continuing to make its mark internationally with a strong slate of post-Mip sales of new titles such as The Mafia, Rosemary Queen of the Kitchen and First Columbus to territories including Russia, Ireland, Australia and France and Italy.

Wall to Wall's Commercial Director, Claire Hungate, said ”Diversity and quality of production continue to be our strengths in the marketplace. Within one single company we are able to offer some of the best formats and completed shows available from an incredibly wide range of genres from primetime drama to daytime features and specialist factual event programming.  The direct relationships we have been able to build with partners internationally have been invaluable in our growth.”
