Wall to Wall continue to maintain their place as one of the UK’s top production companies as they bring an exceptional slate of new programming to Cannes this October.  Please click on the title headings to access more information about each programme

Against All Odds
These are amazing stories of remarkable human survival that seem to defy all known physical Laws.  But they are all true - extraordinary but explainable by science.  This series deals with scientific fact as strange as anything fiction can invent, and which is often the inspiration for urban myths and sci-fi alike.  Each program takes a subject area such as 'superhuman strength' or 'falling from the sky' and uses compelling international case histories to bring the story alive through interview and reconstruction before we re-examine what happened.  We apply the science to analyse the factual basis to the apparently impossible using computer graphics as well as drama to get under the skin of just what the human body is capable of.

Pope John Paul II: The War Years
This is a BBC commission – which tells the dramatic story of Karol Wojtyla's War Years in Nazi-occupied Poland - and how the events he both witnessed and engaged in fundamentally shaped the character of the man he was to become.  2008 marks the thirtieth anniversary of Karol Wojtyla becoming the most recognised person in the world: Pope John Paul II.  The first non-Italian in this role for 455 years, who was this Polish priest, and what were the experiences and events in his early life that shaped him and forged his strong convictions?  This film tells the dramatic story of Karol Wojtyla's War Years in Nazi-occupied Poland - and shows how the events he both witnessed and engaged in fundamentally shaped the character of the man he was to become.

Biker Gangs
Are they simply a brotherhood of bikers from whom the public has nothing to fear, apart from the occasional bad apple?  Or are they billion dollar crime organisations, involved in drugs, gun-running and murder?  The leather-jacketed, long-haired biker on the open road is a modern American icon.  A symbol of freedom, and of rebellion, the image was immortalized and romanticized, in iconic movies like 'The Wild One' and 'Easy Rider'.  But there has always been a dark side to this love affair. This two hour special event will go inside America's biker gangs to separate myth from reality and to reveal where they have come from, how they operate and just what they have done.
