Wall to Wall’s BBC One two-parter, Nadiya’s Asian Odyssey, was this week announced as the winner of Best Programme at the prestigious Fortnum and Mason Food and Drink Awards 2019. The series followed former Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya travelling out of her comfort zone to explore the people, places and food of Thailand, Cambodia, and Nepal after a surprise discovery about her DNA. The awards, now in their eighth year, are the UK’s leading forum for the recognition of excellence in food journalism.
