Wall To Wall is to investigate famous vanishing acts in a new eight-part series.
Mysteries of the Missing will follow host Terry O’Quinn exploring the theories behind infamous cold cases and using science to unearth new clues.
Episodes cover the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, which vanished in March 2014, as well as the case of three Alcatraz escapees who fled the island fortress in 1962.
Other episodes will explore the unexplained cause of a 1908 explosion in Siberia, as well as disappearances in the Bermuda triangle.
The series is to premiere on the Discovery-owned broadcaster on 26 August.
Jeremy Dear and Fred Hepburn are exec producing for Wall to Wall, while Neil Laird is exec producer for Science Channel.
