A staple of the Global 100 since its 2006 inception, Wall to Wall continues its presence this time around thanks to long-running franchises that still perform consistently well both at home and internationally, and more recent programming that not only resonated with those submitting nominations to this list, but audiences across territories as well.
Two of the company's signature series are both family-friendly and family-focused. ITV's Long Lost Family, on the air since 2011, continued to rate highly in the UK, as did another genealogy-centric favorite, Who Do You Think You Are?, which has been a staple on the BBC since 2004.
But the prodco, led by managing director Leanne Klein, is also a formidable factual entertainment force, with such titles as Channel 4's Child Genius and BBC Three's Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-up Star also several seasons deep and adapted in myriad territories. Add to these doc projects such as The Ashley Madison Affair (produced with ABC News Studios for Hulu) and culinary programming such as Nadiya's Simple Spices for BBC Two, and it's easy to see why the company is regarded by many — including industry execs who nominated the company for this edition of the Global 100 — as an "absolute powerhouse."
